Description:
Procon was appointed as Engineer to Contract under NZS3910 part way through construction, after the project ran into consenting, contractual, cost and program difficulties - and Procon was brought in to replace the predecessor managing the contract. The barriers to progress were addressed with the contractor; including negotiations with Ecan to address the consenting constraints, outstanding costs variations negotiated and agreed with the contractor, and a tight but achievable programme agreed. The project was successfully delivered in August 2009, on time and on budget.
